We set our table and
welcome you to Fine Mess,
the contemporary expression
of low & slow barbecue
& creole cuisine.
 
The striking gastronomic impressions
of a roadtrip that spanned six weeks,
thirty-nine states and twenty-one thousand
kilometers across the U.S.
ignited the spark of inspiration.

​We built our smokers, searched our souls
and opened our doors in 2019.
We've been keeping the fire burning
​ever since.
Elena Kaperda is a chef, a chef pâtissière,
and the culinary mastermind behind
this very fine mess we've made for ourselves.

An overall creative person, Elena
abandoned architecture to pursue her
love for flavor. Her culinary credo
is simple - gastronomy should be about the
senses, emotions & experiences;
​not about pretense. 
 
The fire pits light up at dawn
and burn all day. There are no shortcuts
to great Low & Slow. 

We get inspired by barbecue and creole
tradition, modern techniques and
easonal ingredients to bring excitement
to the senses and unexpected pairings
to the table.

Join us at the Chef's Table for the
Fine Mess BBQ Experience. 

We set off in the Smoke Room, where you will
be greeted by one of our experienced pitmasters.
Over drinks, we will talk about all-things-
barbecue, observe the restaurant's operations,
and do some smoking of our own.

The Experience concludes with dinner, and our seasonal Tasting Menu, complete with Wine or Old-Fashioned Cocktail Pairing.
